Okeechobee man killed in car crash

OKEECHOBEE—A 25-year-old Okeechobee man was killed early Sunday in a single-car accident on N.E. 168th St., stated a Florida Highway Patrol news release.

According to that release Josuha Stuart Bryner was eastbound on N.E. 168th St. at 2:39 a.m. on June 2 when, for reasons still unknown, he collided with a utility pole on the unpaved shoulder.

The 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe he was driving reportedly rolled over several times before coming to rest in a cattle pasture.

FHP Trooper Vernon D. Slater Jr. went on to state in the release that Mr. Bryner was thrown from the sports utility vehicle. The Tahoe sustained an estimated $10,000 in damage.

Trooper Slater indicated the crash is still under investigation.
